House Policies
TRANSFER OF LICENCE AND CANCELLATION POLICY:
14.1 You agree that you will not transfer the Licence created by the Accommodation Licence Agreement to anyone else without first obtaining our written consent, which will be in Management’s sole discretion, but not unreasonably withhold. We may, as a condition to giving its consent to the proposed transfer, charge an administration fee of £250 and require the incoming occupant to enter into an Accommodation Licence Agreement with us which confirms that the incoming occupant will observe and comply with the obligations of the contained in the Accommodation Licence Agreement.
14.2 You may not sublet the Accommodation or part with possession or share occupation of the Accommodation or any part of it under any circumstances.
14.3 Cancellation
14.3.1 In the first 14 days:
Unless you have already collected the keys to the Accommodation, you may cancel your booking by writing or sending an e-mail to the manager, at any time during the 14 days after the day you have made your first payment to us (the “14 Day Cooling-Off Period”). If you do that, then we will make no charge and your payment will be returned in full (minus fees charged by the banks in relation to your payment, if any).
14.3.2.2 In the circumstances where a replacement Occupant(s) is found by you to take over your Accommodation Licence Agreement, then you will be released from the current Agreement with effect from the start date of the new Agreement upon payment of a £100 administration fee. The remainder of the any payments made to us will be returned to you.
14.3.4 After commencement of the Period of Occupation:
You will have no right to terminate the Accommodation Licence Agreement, unless a replacement Occupant(s) is found to take over your Agreement.
14.3.4.1 In circumstances where a replacement Occupant is not found, you will not be released from the current Accommodation Licence Agreement and you will remain liable for the full contractual Occupation Fee.
14.3.4.2 In the circumstances where a replacement Occupant is found to take over your Accommodation Licence Agreement, then you will be released from the current Agreement with effect from the start date of the new Agreement and upon paying an administration fee of £250. The remainder of any payments made to us will be returned to you.
14.3.5 Changeover of Agreement
In circumstances where you wish and agreed to exchange rooms with another Occupant at an Accommodation or Building under the management of H.B Management, then there will be a £150 administration fee charged to EACH agreement.
