We literally saw rats near the bin area more than once. It was reported but nothing seemed to change quickly. That alone made the place feel unhygienic. Also the panels were broken. No maintenance at all.

Moving into Albany Student Village has been great, especially as a first year student. The building is very modern and the rooms reflect that too, offering a cosy place to study and relax in. The staff are very friendly and are very welcoming. The kitchens are also great as they provide a large space to cook by yourself or with friends. Would recommend to other first year students moving out for the first time.

More About the Property

Albany Student Village is located in the heart of the Earlsdon neighbourhood and provides a comfortable living space with a mix of en-suites and studios. It is a popular choice for students because of its proximity to campuses. The Nexus Institute of Creative Arts is right around the corner, just a 2-min walk, while Coventry University is just a 25-min walk away (or a 7-minute cycle ride). The property is also well-connected to the rest of the city via the Broomfield Bus Stop

What sets Albany apart is its exclusive outdoor sports facilities, including a floodlit MUGA (multi-use games area) and Padel Tennis Courts, rarely found at student accommodation anywhere in the city. On top of this, residents have access to a wide range of on-site amenities to suit every lifestyle. Also, this student accommodation is packed with the very best and largest amenity space of any student accommodation on the block.

Beyond the neighbourhood, Coventry serves as a central hub of connection with the West Midlands. You can easily reach London or Birmingham via Coventry Railway Station, which is just a 19-minute walk from the property. The city is filled with history, high street shops and local restaurants; it has something for everyone.
