Booking Deposit: The booking deposit is non-refundable unless specified otherwise in writing. If the student's visa application is rejected, a refund of the booking deposit may be considered upon receiving the necessary documentation as proof of visa rejection.
Cancellation Requests: For cancellations made before the start date of the tenancy, the booking deposit will be forfeited. For cancellations made within 4 weeks or 30 days of the start date, a cancellation fee equivalent to 3.5% of the total rent will be deducted from the refund Rent Amount.
Exceptional Circumstances: In certain exceptional circumstances, such as documented medical emergencies or unforeseen events, a refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Valid supporting documentation must be provided to support the refund request.
Refund Process: Refund requests must be made in writing, stating the reason for cancellation or early departure, and providing all necessary supporting documentation. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 15 days to 30 days based on the payment cycle from the date of the refund request. The refund will be issued through the original payment method.
