No, you don’t. Any payment you make upon booking is part of your rental payment. 

All students who wish to take up our rent installment plan are required to provide a UK guarantor (excludes the Isle of Man and Channel Islands).

By agreeing to be a guarantor, you are signing a legal document stating that you agree to pay the rent and guarantee the behaviour of the resident if they default. Please do not sign this agreement if you do not wish to take on this responsibility.

Any student who does not have a UK guarantor will be required to pay the full year’s rent upon application.

Queen Street Studios offers three types of fully furnished studios tailored to your needs:

• Classic Studio: Compact yet comfortable, with a small double bed, private shower, kitchenette, and study space. Ideal for solo living or sharing with a friend at no extra cost.
• Superior Studio: More spacious rooms featuring upgraded fixtures for added comfort.
• Premium Studio: Larger studios located on ground and lower floors, providing extra space to relax and work.

Queen Street Studios sits on Queen Street, EX4 3FG, perfectly positioned just minutes from Exeter’s main universities and transport links. Exeter College is only a 4-minute walk away, while the University of Exeter is reachable within 19 minutes on foot.

Queen Street Studios comes fully equipped with essentials for student life, including high-speed WiFi, a microwave, fridge, electric stove, and dishwasher. Each studio features carpet flooring, a television, a dining area, and cleaning equipment to keep your space fresh and comfortable.

The accommodation fee is non-refundable if you switch from a non-commissionable to a commissionable property. However, the platform fee is refundable if you cancel within the UniAcco Cooling Off Period, which is 48 hours for bookings from April to September, and 5 days for bookings from October to March.

Booking is simple. Visit UniAcco, complete the online enquiry form, and pay the initial deposit. Once your booking is approved, you’ll receive a tenancy agreement to sign, confirming your room. The entire process is smooth, with support available at every step.

If you book online before 31st July without a prior visit, you get a 72-hour cooling-off period to cancel your booking. For bookings made from 1st August onward, the cooling-off period is 24 hours. To cancel, simply contact the Accommodation Manager via email or in writing.

The rent covers all your essential bills, including water, electricity, heating, and high-speed Wi-Fi.

Queen Street Studios does not have on-site car parking. However, secure bike storage is provided free for residents, ideal for easy city cycling and commuting.
