CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING
- If for any reason you wish to cancel your booking, you may request this via email:
- If you decide to cancel your approved booking within 14 days (cooling-off period) of paying the holding deposit, we will confirm receipt of your cancellation, but the holding deposit will not be refunded.
- If you decide to cancel your approved booking after 14 days, then you may be liable for the full contractual amount.
IV. CANCELLING YOUR CONTRACT (AST)
- You may request to cancel your booking in writing or by email once your contract starts.
- You are responsible for finding a suitable replacement student to take over your AST. Release from your AST will only occur when a confirmed replacement is found, and appropriate charges may apply.
- You must pay all amounts due under your Tenancy Agreement until the commencement date of the replacement tenant.
- If you fail to find a replacement tenant, you are liable for paying the full rent until the end of your contracted time at the accommodation.
- Our terms and conditions require you to sign and send back your tenancy agreement along with guarantor form within 30 calendar days of receiving. If you fail to sign your agreement within this timescale we may cancel your booking, giving notice by email, and you will forfeit any monies paid and your room will be given to others.
- We are not obligated to find a suitable replacement tenant for your tenancy.
- Knightstone Properties reserves the right to charge £100.00 if you have already moved into your accommodation to cover cleaning and preparation costs for the room and new documents for the replacement student.
