Hatfield is primarily known for the University of Hertfordshire which is set in the centre of the city. This town is a piece of heaven for history enthusiasts as Queen Elizabeth I practically grew here at Hatfield House. It was in the infamous gardens of the ‘Old Palace’ where Elizabeth came to know she would be Queen. Just off of River Lea is an old mill which was built in the 11th century. Indulge in a bag of that unique flour and savour a delightful cream tea on summer Sundays. You spend some time in the Jubilee Garden, inspired by the Tudor knot style and created to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's golden jubilee in 2002. Set by the dreamy banks of River Lea is another place called Hatfield Park. Taking the Red Walk which is 3.2 miles long is highly recommended by locals and people who visit.
Taste It Polish Restaurant, Here Japan and Prezzo Italian Restaurant are some of the two go places to eat in Hatfield. Offering pieces of delight on a plate, you can relish your tastes at any of these restos. This and so much more are available if you choose Luna as your student accommodation.
