Booking Deposit:- A deposit is required to secure your room with the property, and the amount depends on the room type you choose.
Instalment Plan:- 4 instalments or make a full payment.

House Policies
Cancellation Policy
Property apply a 14 day ‘cooling off period’ to bookings during which time all monies paid are refundable. Please refer to your tenancy agreement or the sample agreement on our website for your specific property for cancelation details in relation to your booking.
If you decide to leave early you remain responsible for the rent for the duration for your tenancy. However, if you are able to find a suitable replacement for your room, then the tenancy will be cancelled. In line with your tenancy agreement refunds will only be given when a suitable replacement is found.
In addition, a ‘No Visa, No Pay’ and ‘No Place, No Pay’ policy applies, allowing you to cancel your booking and receive a refund if your visa application is refused or if you do not secure a place at your chosen university, subject to providing the required documentation.

Can I share with my friends?
Mezzino understand that friends like to stay together. Therefore if you are applying as a group please: Make it clear on the application form of the names of your group; Size of apartment you require; Talk to your accommodation team early as many buildings sell out quickly. Then we will do the rest!
Can I stay for multiple years?
Many of our residents are returning students who just don't want to leave us. If you choose to stay for more than one year we often offer an early booking incentive. We can't prioritise when we're handing out rooms though, so apply as early as you can to improve your chances. And if you are staying we can give the rooms a thorough inspection, clean them and attend to any maintenance ready for when you return.
When's my rent due?
Rent is due the 7th of each month from August, nothing is due in September, and then the 7th of October through until the 7th of June.
How do I become a Resident Co-Ordinator at my building?
As part of our Accommodation Team we employ several students at each of our sites to take on emergency call outs, post, administration support, student support duties. These roles are vital and contribute to forming a happy community at all our buildings. If you would like to become part of our Accommodation team, gain valuable experience and get paid to live at our building then forward a copy of your CV to your local Accommodation Manager who will be happy to provide a Job Description and remuneration details.
I want to stay at my building over the summer?
Great! Mezzino offers the opportunity for students to stay on over the summer. There are restrictions in terms of date and availability however if you speak with the local accommodation team they will advise you on availability and how you can book.
How do I prove I am exempt from Council Tax when I move into Valerian?
Full-time students in the UK are exempt from Council Tax while staying at Valerian. Council Tax is usually already exempt and included in your rent. If required, you can download a Council Tax Exemption Certificate from your university and submit it to your local council. If you’re unsure, your UniAcco property team can guide you through the process.
