Cancellation Policy AY 24/25:
Long Stay Rate:?All long stay packages are based on a minimum of 28 consecutive nights. A £500 holding fee is due upon booking to secure your apartment. This payment will be deducted from the overall cost of your stay. If you cancel within 48 hours of making your booking, we will refund you your £500 holding fee. However, full payment or termly payment is due on completion of booking. This is non-refundable, non-amendable and non-transferable if the booking is cancelled.
Early Departures: Cancellation fees will be applied in line with the cancellation policies of your rate plan. Typically, this could be the next termly payment or the remainder of the booking duration.
We reserve the right to cancel your booking at any time with immediate effect if payments for bookings have not been made within the agreed time frames. Or you break the contract in anyway.?
We also may cancel your booking in the event of severe weather conditions, acts of terrorism, fire, flooding, power failure, emergency evacuation, other circumstances beyond our control. In the event of such a cancellation, we will endeavour to contact you in advance and advise alternative options.
Out-booking:?In the unlikely event that we are not able to accommodate your booking on the night of arrival, we will find alternative suitable accommodation and ensure that you are charged no more than the original booked rate. Any difference will be covered by IconInc @ Roomzzz for your inconvenience.
Insurance: Insurance is not included in your rate for any IconInc @ Roomzzz location.
Optional extras:??Payment for any optional extras will be taken in full in conjunction with payment for the duration of your stay. This amount is non-refundable in the event of cancellation.
Iconinc - Chester City FAQs
A holding deposit of £150 is taken to reserve an apartment for you whilst we complete your application. Upon receipt of your holding deposit, we will send you the relevant forms and request payment of the £500 tenancy deposit.
No. This is student accommodation and proof of study is required before signing for a room.
All cancellations must be notified in writing to IconInc – verbal cancellations will not be warranted. Cancellations will only be valid when in receipt of written cancellation consent from IconInc. We suggest if you are unsure about exam results, receiving your visa or other condition on you attending University that you do not book until you are sure. If the Agreement is not completed for reasons within the landlord’s control, the £150 holding deposit will be refunded within 15 days of taking this payment. However, if it is determined that you have no right to rent/provide misleading or false information/ withdraw from the proposed agreement / fail to execute your application within 15 days, your £150 holding deposit will be forfeited. After signing your Agreement, you are contractually bound to the tenancy and you can only be released after finding a suitable replacement tenant who will take on the full rent liability.
