I’m heading to Brazil for a few months and I’m looking for someone to take my room while I’m away. I ahven't purchased the tickets yet, so dates are still quite flexible. One small request: I have quite a few plants, so I’m looking for someone who’s happy to water them and keep them alive until I’m back. Nothing complicated, I’ll show you what each one needs. Your flatmate You’ll be sharing with a French guy who is finishing his PhD and teaches French at the University of Bologna. He’s respectful, organised and friendly. The location You’re less than 10 minutes on foot from the porticoes leading up to the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca. It’s the longest portico in the world and a beautiful walk (or run), with the hills and the whole city below you. The neighbourhood is genuinely lived-in rather than touristy, with traditional bars, cafés, osterie and trattorie just a few minutes’ walk away. Supermarkets are 2 minutes from the door, including NaturaSì for organic and vegan options. Getting around The city centre is 8 minutes away by bike or bus, and the train station is 15 minutes by bus.
