Italy – Yugo Cancellation Policy 14-day cooling-off period: Full refund of the deposit. Less than 14 days before check-in: Cancellation is allowed until the contract start date. University admission failure: Cancellation possible up to 15 days before the stay, subject to eligibility and required documents; full deposit refund. Visa refusal: Cancellation possible before the lease starts with official proof; full deposit refund. Visa pending: Booking can be held for up to 120 days. If the visa is later refused, 50% of rent paid is retained and the security deposit is also retained. Other cancellations after 14 days: Deposit is non-refundable and contractual obligations continue. Replacement tenant: Cancellation may be permitted if Yugo approves the replacement. Deposit is retained as a cancellation fee. After move-in: A suitable replacement tenant is required; €100 administration fee applies. No replacement: Tenant remains liable for rent until the end of the contract, and the security deposit is retained. Lease shortening: Not permitted; extension may be possible before the lease starts, subject to availability.
