More About the Property

This stunning furnished studio apartment features contemporary design, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy living area with breathtaking views. Perfectly situated, you'll have easy access to everything that makes Berlin vibrant and exciting! Born in Brazil and raised in the rural Neotropics, Dana László da Costa’s practice is deeply shaped by an intimate, pre-industrial relationship with nature. Growing up largely without electricity, she developed a timeless understanding of the natural world—one that informs her view of nature as both collaborator and primary artist. Working primarily with wool and silk, Dana creates textile works that explore “the natural” as a universal and living force. Her process is rooted in place: from foraging bark and plants in Brazil to hand-dyeing, winding, and tufting her materials. The resulting pieces feel organic and immersive—blending abstract and botanical forms with tactile depth. Rather than functioning as tapestries, her works appear almost alive, as if a plant from another dimension were emerging from the wall: familiar, yet mysterious. Step into the heart of Berlin with Mitte, the central district that bridges the city's past and present. As the nucleus of historic Berlin, Mitte is home to iconic landmarks such as Brandenburg Gate, Berlin Cathedral, and Museum Island. Meander through cobblestone streets lined with chic boutiques, art galleries, and trendy cafes. Explore the vibrant Hackescher Markt area or delve into the city's tumultuous history at the Berlin Wall Memorial. With its fusion of culture, commerce, and creativity, Mitte embodies the essence of Berlin's cosmopolitan spirit.
