If you have a long-term contract, you can terminate it with three months' notice by September 30 of the second contract year.

In order for us to accept your termination, it must be in writing in accordance with §126 BGB (German Civil Code). This means that we need the physical termination letter with your original handwritten signature on it.

You have two options for submitting your termination to us:

1. In person at your residence’s reception
   Hand in the originally signed termination letter to the House Manager.
   ? Please note: The House Managers are only authorized to receive the letter. The Letting Team will review and process your termination.
2. Send by post to our central address in Munich:

• You can terminate your rental contract with a 3-month notice period, ending at the end of the month.
• The termination must be in writing with your original handwritten signature (physical letter only, as per German law).
• Email, phone, scanned copies, or digital signatures are not accepted.

How to submit:

• Submit the signed letter in person to the House Manager at your residence, or
• Send it by post to the central address in Munich

Important notes:

• Only House Managers can accept the termination (not receptionists).
• The official date is when the letter is received (at reception or in Munich).

Alternative option:

• You can end the contract with 4 weeks’ notice if you find a replacement tenant.
