You will enter the apartment and will realize how bright and cosy your new home is. It is a welcoming, comfortable place, that provides all you can wish for, while staying in Berlin, for a few months or even a full year. The apartment is equiped with fast internet WIFI, which makes it also home office location. The living room, kitchen and bedroom are facing the south. All rooms are funished in a cosy scandinavian style, with hand selected furniture and art from Berlin and around the world One major highlight of the apartment is for sure the living room, which is bright and very cosy, furnished with mid century furniture and original art pieces, many books, a record player and a table for 4-6 friends for a visit. The kitchen which has been completely renovated in December 2022, has large windows towards the south. It offers high quality new appliances: induction oven, dishwasher, kettle, large fridge/ freezer, cookware, high quality cutlery, toaster and a coffee and tea maker. It's a nice spot to stay for hours enjoying the sun, the view and your cup of coffee and tea. The balcony is for sure another sweetspot of the apartment, facing the historic buildings on the other side of the Corinth Street. Its equipped with a table, two chairs and an umbrella for sunny Berlin days. Through the corridor you can also enter the bedroom, which offers a king-sized bed, a spacious antic wardrobe, a nice workbench and chair. Bed linen, blankets, pillows, ironing machine and ironing board are provided. Very practical is the small, but seperated storage room, where important items like vacuum cleaner, the ironing board and other practical tools and items are stored. In the bathroom you will find the sink, a shower, a WC and a washing machine. THE LOCATION Friedrichshain is a vibrant and very creative area, famous for its bars, clubs and cafes. In the last years many new international employers have opened their offices in this area, like the "Media Spree" and Universal, MTV, Coca Cola, die fernsehwerft and others. If you leave the apartment you will reach the "Ostkreuz" Station, one of Berlin's major transportation hubs within 11 minutes by walk (3 minutes by bike). From there you will reach the new BER airport within 20 minutes, the Alexander place (city center) within 9 minutes and the Brandenburg gate within 17 minutes. Several trains (S-Bahn) and bus lines will take you from there to any point in Berlin and around. For all your favourite outdoor activities you will find the perfect sport right at your doorstep. The river Spree with its waterfront promenade is just one block away. If you prefer jogging, cycling or sailing, paddeling or swimming the Rummelsburger Bucht (bay) is just 14 minutes by foot or 4 minutes by bike away. Also the large and beautiful city park (Treptower Park) is just one kilometer away. If you are heading to Kreuzberg, you just need to pass the Oberbaum bridge and you will be able to enjoy the bars, cafes and lifestyle of the this exciting neighbouring area (18 minutes walk, 5 minutes by bike)
