More About the Property
HOUSE
The apartment is located in a typical Berlin Altbau on the 3rd floor.
APARTMENT
Step into a spacious and characterful apartment with a relaxed, stylish atmosphere and plenty of room to make yourself at home. With beautiful parquet flooring, generous proportions and lots of natural light, this is a place that feels both elegant and effortlessly cool.
The heart of the apartment is the large living room, featuring a comfortable sofa and Smart TV, perfect for lazy evenings, relaxed gatherings or simply putting your feet up after a long day. From here, you can step directly onto one of the apartment’s balconies.
Next to the living room, the inviting dining room creates a warm and sociable space for long dinners, morning coffee or drinks with friends. The corner windows flood the room with natural light.
The bedroom offers a comfortable double bed and a spacious wardrobe, providing plenty of storage while keeping the room calm and uncluttered.
The fourth room gives you extra flexibility and can be used as a second living room, creative space or home office — whatever suits your lifestyle best.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for everyday cooking, from quick breakfasts to dinner parties with friends.
One of the apartment’s more unusual features is a staircase that is accessible exclusively from the apartment. While only partially accessible, it adds a distinctive architectural touch and a little extra character to the space. This area also leads to a second balcony, giving you another spot to enjoy some fresh air.
The bathroom is fitted with a bathtub, perfect for unwinding at the end of the day.
AREA
The apartment is located in Kreuzberg, one of Berlin’s most vibrant and characterful neighbourhoods. For anyone new to Berlin, it is a great introduction to the city’s famous mix of relaxed everyday life, international food, independent shops, cafés and nightlife. The immediate neighbourhood feels local and residential, while some of Kreuzberg’s best known streets and hangouts are only a short walk or bike ride away.
For everyday shopping, you have supermarkets and smaller local shops within easy reach, while the surrounding streets offer bakeries, cafés, pharmacies and everything you need for daily life. The nearby Bergmannkiez is particularly popular, with Bergmannstraße offering a colourful mix of independent boutiques, vintage shops, cafés, restaurants and bars.
Food is one of the highlights of living here. You are surrounded by an enormous variety of international cuisine, from Turkish and Middle Eastern restaurants to Italian, French, Asian and modern Berlin-style cafés.
There are also plenty of green and outdoor spaces nearby. The Landwehrkanal is within easy reach and is a favourite place for Berliners to walk, cycle or sit by the water, especially during the warmer months.
Getting around Berlin is very easy from this location. The bus stop Urbanstraße/Baerwaldstraße is just around the corner and is served by the M41, which runs through Kreuzberg towards Potsdamer Platz and Hauptbahnhof in one direction and towards Neukölln in the other. The subway U7 at Gneisenaustraße is also within walking distance, providing a convenient connection across the city.
