Cancellation Policy

To apply for UniLodge accommodation, you must be enrolled in studies in Australia for most of your stay and provide proof of enrolment. All cancellations must be submitted in writing with supporting documents to the UniLodge property where you applied. UniLodge may cancel your application if you provide false or misleading information, fail to meet student requirements, miss payment deadlines, don’t sign the tenancy agreement on time, or fail to arrive by your contract start date. Under the “No Visa, No Offer – No Pay” policy, you may be eligible for a full refund if your student visa is refused or university offer is denied, provided you submit supporting documents at least 30 days before your booking start date. You can also defer your contract to a future term. Refunds (processed within 4 weeks) may incur international transfer fees.

Once the Tenancy Agreement is signed, it becomes legally binding, and cancellations are treated as a lease break, typically incurring a fee of 1 to 4 weeks’ rent. In special cases—such as a visa refusal or official international travel restrictions—you may still qualify for a refund if you notify UniLodge within 24 hours of receiving the decision and provide evidence. Requests for specific room types, layouts, or features are not guaranteed and subject to availability. Booking changes (e.g., lease term adjustments or room changes) may incur administrative fees, especially if requested within 14 days of the lease start date.
