Live-in Family Support Opportunity – Delft City Centre We are offering a furnished private room (approximately 13 m2) in our family home in the centre of Delft, just a 3-minute walk from Delft Central Station, for a student only. This is not a standard room rental. We are looking for someone who is interested in becoming part of a warm family environment and who would enjoy providing some support in our daily family life in exchange for accommodation, a monthly allowance and other benefits. About us We are a father and daughter (10 years old) living in a spacious and welcoming family home. We are active, easy-going and value kindness, reliability and open communication. What we offer * Private furnished room (13 m2) * All utilities included (gas, water, electricity and internet) * Access to a spacious family home with two bathrooms and four toilets * Meals with the family if you would like to join * Friendly and informal home environment * Monthly allowance (to be discussed) * Preferably a stay of at least 6–12 months What we are looking for We are looking for a reliable and independent student or young professional who enjoys being around children and would like to become a trusted and positive part of our family life. The role involves approximately 15–20 hours per week, mainly on weekday afternoons and early evenings, with some flexibility on both sides as we regularly work from home. The support consists mainly of: * Being present with our daughter after school * Occasional babysitting and general family support * Light household tasks * Cooking from time to time * Weekly cleaning Some of the childcare support may take place every other week at the mother’s home, which will always be discussed and planned in advance. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking for a home and family environment rather than simply renting a room. Please note: This is a live-in family support arrangement and not a standard room rental. The financial arrangement and exact details will be discussed with suitable candidates.
