There's a bus stop right in front of the Student accommodation, you can take the 31 bus to the Altstadt and it only takes 15-18 minutes and buses come every 10 minutes. There's an Aldi, Rewe and Rossman at a 15 min walking distance (you can also take the bus, it's 4 stops).
