Would you like to live in one of Hamburg's most unique locations? From the end of August, our listed historic captain's house in Neumühlen will be available for a temporary rental. Located right on the Elbe beach, overlooking the River Elbe and the Museum Harbour, it's a place we truly love and would like to entrust to someone who will appreciate it just as much. Full of character and history, the house is particularly well suited for families. It is partially furnished and offers approximately 138 m2 (1,485 sq ft) of living space across three floors, as well as a private garden. The layout is as follows: • Ground floor: living room, fully equipped kitchen, guest WC and a spacious entrance hall. • First floor: main bathroom, primary bedroom, a second bedroom (ideal as a children's room, nursery or guest room), a utility/storage room, and beautiful views of the River Elbe. • In addition, the top floor offers further rooms available for your use, including a living area with a kitchenette, a bedroom and a bathroom. This floor also enjoys wonderful views of the Elbe. Please note that it is not included in the official living space (138 m2) and is not classified as residential living area. There is also an annex providing ample space for bicycles, outdoor equipment and additional storage. The initial rental period is for one year, with a very likely possibility of extension. The move-in date is flexible, anytime from the end of August until 1 November 2026 at the latest. A private parking space can also be rented if required. The house is suitable for people of all ages and is equipped with an elevator. However, it is not fully barrier-free, as access is via the dike or a flight of stairs. What makes this home truly special is its unique setting. It is hard to imagine a more beautiful place to live in Hamburg. The River Elbe is right on your doorstep, the sandy Elbe beach is just a short walk away, and the views from the upper floors stretch across the river and the historic Museum Harbour. Public transport connections are excellent, with a bus stop and the ferry directly outside the house. Altona station, offering S-Bahn and long-distance rail services, is also easily accessible.
