Loughborough University, based in Leicestershire, ninety minutes north of London was established in 1909. Loughborough University has 16 halls of residence for undergraduate students and 3 for postgraduate students to live in throughout their stay, 7 of which are catered, 6 of which are self-catered and 3 of which are managed in collaboration with a service provider. Foreign undergraduate students are guaranteed housing in University Halls for up to two years.

Loughborough University has a free airport pickup service for foreign students at different times leading up to the start of the academic year.
