Cancellation & Stay Policy

Rent Payments

• Rent is collected every Tuesday.

• If you move in on any day other than Tuesday, your first invoice will be prorated accordingly.

Booking Confirmation

• Your accommodation is secured only after the security deposit is paid.

Check-Out & Fees

• A cleaning fee will be charged at the time of check-out.

• Bed sheets, pillows, and towels are not provided unless requested in the application (additional charges apply).

• Friendstay provides one set of keys per bedroom.

Bond Refund

• The bond will be refunded within 21 days after your check-out, provided all conditions are met.

Early Move-Out Policy

Can you move out before your minimum stay ends?

• Moving out before the agreed minimum stay is considered a breach of contract, and in such cases, the security deposit will not be refunded.

However, there is an option to avoid this loss:
You may transfer your lease by finding someone to take over your room. If you successfully arrange a replacement tenant:

• Your full bond will be refunded.

• We will assist with the security deposit and contract transfer process to ensure a smooth transition.
