Australia Home Stay - Newcastle Verified

Pre-arrival:

• Cancel 10+ days before arrival → Full refund of Weekly Fees; Matching Fee non-refundable.

• Cancel less than 10 days before arrival → Forfeit 2 weeks’ fees + Matching Fee; rest refunded.

• Visa refusal: Full refund of Weekly Fees (if 3 business days’ notice given); otherwise, 2 weeks’ fees kept. Matching Fee non-refundable.

Post-arrival:

• No refund for the first 4 weeks once stay begins.

• Must give 2 weeks’ written notice to move out (notice cannot start in the first 2 weeks).

• Less than 2 weeks’ notice → Pay 2 weeks’ fees after notice date.

• Changing Host without valid reason → New Matching Fee applies.

• Leaving without notice → No refund.

• Multiple transfers (over 3 times) → Service may be discontinued.

• If Host cancels (not Guest’s fault) → Replacement arranged or refund/credit for remaining nights.

• If Guest breaches rules → Immediate move-out; may pay new Matching Fee for re-placement.

• If Host breaches rules → Refund or credit for unused Weekly Fees; new placement arranged if requested.
