If you want to travel a bit further, Bavaria and neighboring wonderful Austria & Switzerland are only 30 minutes away both by car and boat. Passionate skiers and/or alpinists might even consider using the place as their base for skiing/ hiking excursions to Vorarlberg ( Austria ) and other nearby locations. Getting around is a real walk in the park. The entire public transport system ( train, bus, boat, plane ) is highly sophisticated and well developed. Ideal both visiting business people and exhibitors ( free shuttle bus transfers to the exhibition center ) and for families as well as elder folks.
