House Policies
Cancellation Policy AY 24/25:
If you cancel within 7 working days of accepting your offer, so within the cooling off period, this will not affect your deposit.
If you cancel after 7 working days, but before 31/07/2023, we will charge £75.00 cancellation fee, this will be claimed from your deposit;
If however, you cancel after 31/07/2023 ,your full deposit will be retained to cover the cancellation fee and the costs of re-advertising your room, you will remain liable for your rent for the academic year 2023/24 until a replacement tenant is found to take your room
Adam & Burton House FAQs
At the end of your stay, The Student Lodge usually conducts a final inspection. Should any damages be present we will write to you and issue you a checkout report by email.
Maybe your student finance hasn’t come through yet, or maybe you are just struggling to make ends meet this month. The Student Lodge aims to work will all our students and find the suitable solution, if you tell us up-front about any issues we can usually help. However should you be late with making payment without prior agreement with us we charge a fixed rate administrative charge of £25.
