This affair horrifies the social circles of Saint Petersburg and forces the young lovers to run away to Italy in search of happiness but after they return to Russia, their lives further unravel. Anna is a sophisticated woman who abandons her empty existence as the wife of Karenin and turns to Count Vronsky to fulfil her passionate nature with tragic consequences.
Acclaimed by many as the world’s greatest novel, Anna Karenina provides a vast view of present life in Russia and of humanity in general. Throughout his best novels of all time, Tolstoy creates some of the most memorable characters in all of literature. In the book, Tolstoy points out no morals, inviting us not to judge but to watch the story.

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain

Huckleberry Finn, also known as Huck, is the protagonist. His friend, Thomas Sawyer or “Tom” have each come into a considerable sum of money as a result of their earlier adventures. Huck explains how he is placed under the guardianship of Widow Douglas and her strict sister, Miss Watson, who are attempting to civilize him and teach him religion. He finds civilized life like a prison. Huck gets excited when Tom Sawyer helps him slip past Miss Watson, so he can meet up with Tom’s gang of self-proclaimed robbers. And the story goes on with many twists and turns as they battle through it.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

Jane Austen was known for six major novels. Pride and Prejudice have constantly appeared near the top of lists of “most-loved books” among readers of all types. It has become one of the best novels of all time in English literature with over 20 million copies sold and has inspired many authors in modern literature.
The novel follows the character development of Elizabeth Bennet, the protagonist of the book who learns about the outcomes of quick judgments and values the difference between superficial goodness and actual goodness. Its humour lies in its honest depiction of manners, education, marriage, and money during the Regency era in England.
Mr. Bennet (Elizabeth’s father) has five daughters but his property can only be passed to a male heir. The main motivation that drives the plot is that it is important that at least one of the girls marry well to support the others. The novel revolves around the importance of marrying for love rather than money or social prestige. Throughout the book, we are confronted by the rules and etiquette of the era.
Austen’s plots often explore the dependence of women on marriage in the pursuit of favourable social standing and economic security. Her use of biting irony, along with her realism, humour, and social commentary, have long earned her acclaim among critics, scholars, and popular audiences alike.

The story is set in ancient times, the Rings of Power were crafted by the Elven-smiths, and Sauron, the Dark Lord, forged the One Ring, filling it with his own power so that he could rule all others. But the One Ring was taken from him and though he searched for it throughout Middle-earth, it was forever gone. After many ages, it fell by chance into the hands of the hobbit Bilbo Baggins. From Sauron’s fastness in the Dark Tower of Mordor, his power spread far and wide. Sauron gathered all the Great Rings to him but he always searched for the One Ring that would complete his dominion. This book is an adventure worth taking!
