University of York

A collegiate research university in the English city of York is known as the University of York (sometimes known as Ebor or York for post-nominals). York St John University

An expansive urban campus in York, England is home to York St. John University, also known as YSJ, which was originally founded as York Diocesan College. Since its founding in 1841, it has grown to the status of a university. In 2015, the university was granted authority to grant research degrees for PhD and doctoral programmes. The Haxby Road location, one mile from the city centre, houses the university's primary sports facilities. The location was purchased by the university in 2012, and it was given the name "York St. John University Sports Centre Nestlé Rowntree Park."
