    Payments

    Booking Fee: €300 to confirm your booking (adjustable in your rent).
    Guarantor: International Guarantor or Irish based Guarantor required.
    Installment Plan: Full payment or 4 installments(Irish Guarantor)
    Mode of Payment: You can either pay the rent by card or bank transfer.

    House Policies

    Bookings made prior to 1st June 2022
    If you sign your Licence to Reside prior to 1 June 2022 and you have not collected the keys to your Room, you may cancel your Licence, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the Manager at the Property, with no penalty up until the 1st June. Once we receive such a notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your Licence and will refund your Advance Room Fee Payment of €300.00.

    Bookings made on or after 1 June 2022
    If you sign your Licence to Reside on or after 1 June 2022 and you have not collected the keys to your Room, you may cancel your Licence, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the Manager at the Property, at any time within the period of fourteen (14) days of the date on which you sign your Licence to Reside (the “Cooling-Off Period”). Once we receive such a notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your Licence and will refund your Advance Room Fee Payment of €300.

    Bookings made for Semester 2 or 3 starting after 1 January 2023
    If you sign your Licence to Reside for a semester 2 or 3 beginning after 1 January 2023, you may cancel your Licence, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the Manager at the property, with no penalty up until 15 November 2022 or 8 weeks before the start of your agreement which ever is the shortest. Once we receive such a notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your Licence and will refund your Advance Room Fee Payment of €300.00.

    If you have not collected your key you may also cancel at any time within the period of fourteen (14) days of the date on which you sign your Licence to reside (the "Cooling-off Period"). During the cancellation Period you may cancel your Tenancy, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the Manager at the property, Once we receive such a notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your Licence and will refund your Advance Room Fee Payment of €300.00.

    Cancelling outside the Cooling-Off Period
    Outside the Cooling-Off Period, you may request to cancel your Licence to Reside, by notice in writing or by e-mail to the Manager at the Property. However, you will remain liable for the Room Fee payable under the Licence to Reside until a suitable replacement student has been found.

    Cancelling as you do not receive your visa
    If you are not successful in being awarded a visa to travel and study, then we can help. Firstly, we may be able to transfer you to another one of our residences around the globe if you are going to study elsewhere. If you are not going to study elsewhere or we do not have accommodation available in your new city/town of study, we will release you from your Licence to Reside provided the following criteria are met:

    You submit your request to cancel, in writing or by e-mail to the Manager at the Property, within 3 days of your visa rejection letter; and
    You provide the Manager with a copy of your rejection letter from the embassy or visa office. 

    One less worry if you don’t receive your points
    This is applicable to prospective first-year undergraduate students only. If you are not successful in obtaining your place at your chosen University, then don’t worry, we can help. Firstly, we may be able to transfer you to another one of our residences if you are going to study elsewhere. If you are not going to study elsewhere or we do not have accommodation available in your new city/town of study, we will release you from your Licence to Reside provided the following criteria are met:

    You submit your request to cancel, in writing or by e-mail to the Manager at the Property, before 20 August 2022; and
    You provide the Resideance Manager with a copy of your rejection letter from the University or CAO.
    Once we have your request, we will confirm receipt and refund your Advance Room Fee Payment of €300.

    Brewers Close FAQs

    The Platform Fee is a one-time charge that prioritizes your booking and grants access to exclusive pre and post-landing services, potentially saving up to £1,500. This fee is refundable if UniAcco cannot secure the room category and property you select.
    You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of payment, after which platform fees will not be refunded (To be added on Cancellation Policy also)
    Fee is non-refundable in case the student decides to swap their accommodation from a non-commissionable property to a commissionable property. Platform Fee is refundable to the student if they decide to cancel their booking within the defined “UniAcco Cooling Off Period”. This period will be upto 48 hours from the months April-September and 5 days from the months October-March.
    Platform fee reflects upfront for all non-commissionable properties. For partially commissionable properties, the platform fee should reflect at the time of the student filling the booking form. This is subject to the nationality of the student.
    We will assist the student with the entire booking process. End-to-end handling of the cancellation process for the student. (Platform Fee won’t be refundable to the student in this scenario). Post Move-In Assistance to the student.

    In many cases, we can allow people to move in early at a daily rate, but you will need to contact the residence team to check.

    Outside. Our buildings are non-smoking and incidents of smoking indoors will be dealt with strictly.
