Mary Isobel Catherine Bernadette O'Brien OBE (16 April 1939 2 March 1999) also known by the name Dusty Springfield, was an English artist whose career spans more than five decades.
Dusty Springfield began her career as an artist on her own in 1963. She was able to remain prominently in the public eye for being one of the most gifted pop artists of all time.
In addition to her work being a musician Dusty Springfield was also involved in television shows, including host or presenter of various shows in the 1960s.
As a musician, she is admired not just for her natural talent but also for her dedication and her obsession with perfection, which led to an intense effort for every recording.
Dusty Springfield also produced various songs that she has never claimed credit for.
