I am a UK/EU student – How do I apply for a full-time course?

  • Applications for full-time must be made through the UCAS at www.ucas.com.
  • One can apply for up to 5 courses online through the UCAS website, either:
    • Through the school or college who are registered with UCAS.
    • Apply to the UWL London using the institution’s code W05 and the UCAS code given for the course in the course search.
  • After completing your application, a fee must be paid to UCAS directly. Currently, this fee is £20 if one only applies to one course or £26.50 if you wish to use it for more than one class or institution.

I am an international student – How do I apply for a full-time course?

  • One can apply it in two ways:
    • From the UCAS website, you will need the institution code (W05) and the UCAS course code is shown on the course page.
    • Directly on their website – follow the ‘apply now’ link on the course page.

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements are set to make sure a student can succeed and benefit from the course. UWL London welcomes applications with an array of qualifications, including all post-16 qualifications in the UK, with recognition given to relevant skills, professional experience and vocational qualifications, including the new Advanced and Progression Diplomas. They also consider applicants with other criteria, including approved Access to Higher Education courses, Open University credits and various professional skills.

When Should One Apply For A Visa To Study In The UK?

  • If you are an International applicant starting a course in September, you should consider applying for your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies in April to easily enable you to get a visa to study in the UK. One can apply for a visa a maximum of three months before the course start date. A deposit of £3,000 must be paid for your first year’s fees.
